Jon Wrennall

Jon Wrennall, Chief Technology Officer Jon is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Advanced having joined in January 2016. It is his responsibility is to drive innovation and quality in the development of its suite of software solutions and services to make a difference to Advanced’s 20,000 customers. A renowned thought leader in the technology sector, Jon has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. He spent the last five years as CTO of Fujitsu UK and Ireland, overseeing 1,200 architects and driving change across all areas of the business.  Prior to moving to Fujitsu, Wrennall served as Chief Information Officer, Transformation Director and SIRO at the Valuation Office Agency (VOA), and served as Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs’ first Chief Technology Officer, leading the integration of the former Inland Revenue and Customs & Excise organisations. Jon is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the British Computer Society, founding Fujitsu Fellow and member of the Advisory Board for leading application intelligence company, AppDynamics. A strong believer in recognising and harnessing talent, Jon founded the Fujitsu Distinguished Engineer Programme, recognising technology and excellence of role models who are shaping the industry.
