Bob Petrocelli

Bob Petrocelli has served as Chief Technology Officer at Datto since July 2019. Before serving in this role, Petrocelli was a Senior Software Architect at Oracle. Petrocelli came to Oracle by way of their acquisition of GreenBytes, a business which Petrocelli founded in 2007. Prior to this, Petrocelli was CEO and co-founder of Heartlab from 1994 to 2006. Petrocelli was named Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001. Petrocelli earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island, where he was an Office of Naval Research Fellow in Physical Oceanography.
